Julia Still Hates L.A.

Apparently I seem to find it inappropriate to blog while Obama is the president-elect.

I still hate LA. It's nice to be sitting outside in the sunshine in January, typing away. It's nice to be back at school where most of my friends are. But I still don't like Los Angeles. You should know by now that this is not new.

However, I do love the fact that there's a table next to me with some women shouting one of my favorite words ("dessert") preceeded by a word that the anything's greatness by an order of magnitude ("free!").

I'm kind of at a loose end here, on this Friday afternoon. I feel like I should recap the last few months for you...

Election blah blah blah Bodega Bay blah blah blah work work work blah blah work more work blah blah MORE FREAKIN WORK blah ridiculous amounts of work blah blah limpets mussels etc. blah blah blah Christmas break! Blahhhhhh back to school in Los Angeles. Blah.

Yup. That about sums it up. I am very excited for the Inaguration on Tuesday. Very very very. I have class and other obligations and such, but it's great when I can sit back and think how little those things all matter in the face of the coming Obama administration.
